Job Title: Housekeeper for Private Residence

Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Schedule:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday - 4 days/week (32 hours) OR Monday - Friday - 5 days (40 hours) for the right candidate
• 9AM - 5PM

Compensation: $35-$40 per hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a professional, dedicated, and detail-oriented Housekeeper for a large 12,000+ sq. ft. family home in Cherry Hill, NJ. This role requires a self-starter with a strong work ethic who can handle tasks with excellence, precision, and a calm demeanor. Ideal candidates will bring a sense of organization, respectfulness, and commitment to creating a peaceful, well-maintained environment. This is a long-term position with the potential to grow into a valued member of the household, with a commitment to be with the family for 10-15 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Housekeeping: Thoroughly clean and maintain all areas of the 12,000 sq. ft. home, including a full finished basement and theater room.
• Organization: Keep all spaces impeccably organized to the highest standards; organization is a priority for this household.
• Errands & Home Assistance: Run errands as needed.
• Light Handy Tasks: Reading instructions and assisting with simple household setups or repairs as needed.
• Respect for Boundaries: The household is a sensitive and private space with the husband working from home, engaging in frequent meetings, and the mother in and out of the house. A calm, respectful, and mindful presence is essential. Confidentiality is vital. 
• Allergies: THIS IS A PEANUT FREE HOME! Also, this is a fragrance- and smoke-sensitive home; no perfumes, smoking, or strong scents are allowed.

Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience in high-standard housekeeping for large homes.
• Skills: Excellent attention to detail, highly organized, calm, respectful, and discrete.
• Mindfulness: Someone who works efficiently but carefully, with a focus on quality over speed.
• Nice Manners: Good manners, a pleasant demeanor, and a respectful attitude are key.
• Confidentiality: Willing to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and maintain strict confidentiality regarding family matters.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable with the demands of maintaining a large, multi-level home.
• Background: Background check upon contingent offer of hire

Additional Details

• Schedule Flexibility: 32 hours over 4 days, with the option for 40 hours over 5 days.
• Long-Term Commitment: Ideally looking for a commitment of 10-15 years with the family.
• Dress Code: Scrubs are preferred; the family is open to providing scrubs or allowing the candidate to wear their choice.
• Pets: Two dogs in the household (1-year-old and 4-month-old); while pet care is not required, a pet-friendly attitude is beneficial.
• Children: There are three children in the home (ages 5, 7, and 11); however, childcare is not part of this role.
