Nanny

Full time employment, Monday-Friday,  9:00 am - 7:30 pm with flexibility to shift start/end hours if needed. 

Beacon, NY Parents are looking to find a Reliable Full-Time Nanny with a Special Education Background beginning June 2025, or sooner for the right fit,  to help support their 2 year-old son who has Epilepsy in their home in Dutchess County, located along the Hudson River.

The Nanny will have an education background and experience working with a team of professional therapists,  able to fully support their sons neurological, cognitive, physical, speech, and development delays.

Someone patient who is "in charge of the army and plays with intent",  and capable of managing the complexities of his growth, especially during these crucial toddler years (2-3 years of age).

Their son also follows a restrictive diet and adheres to rigid guidelines of a food plan, prepared to best control his "infantile spasms" which occur mainly at night.

Requirements:
  • Reliable, punctual, responsible, excellent attendance record
  • Education focused, intentional with time spent toward developmental goals including enrichment activities outside the home. Design and implement in-home curriculum of engagement activities, focusing on repetition and functional skills. 
  • Able to independently manage therapy scheduling, overseeing schedule of meds, maintaining sleep and nap timelines and monitoring any seizure activity.  
  • Physically able to comfortably lift child approx. 33lbs (ie walking down stairs, putting in a playground swing).
  • Must be Technology Savvy: able to work within Apps, surf the web, etc:
  • Must be able to collaborate well with others, working as a team within a staffed home including chef, therapists and additional care givers.
  • Experience working with professional parent households with a high attention to detail
  • Reliable transportation, clean driving record, able to drive in snow.
  • Comfortable taking the train to NYC, with or without the parent if needed.
Salary: $100, 000, through Payroll, DOE
Includes 10 days paid time off, 5 sick days per year,  paid holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Day, and July 4
