Part Time Private Chef

Job Title: Private Chef for Family of Four (Center City)

Schedule: 2-3 Days per Week
Location: Center City, Philadelphia

We are a family of four (two adults and two young children, ages 1 and 4) seeking a talented and holistic-minded Private Chef to provide healthy, delicious meals on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be creative, passionate about seasonal ingredients, and able to deliver wholesome meals that cater to both adults and young children.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve breakfast for two adults, ensuring it’s ready by 7:30 AM. Meals should be simple yet healthy (e.g., protein muffins, overnight oats, etc.).
  • Cook lunch and dinner, with enough food prepared for the next day.
  • Develop a weekly menu featuring creative, nutritious meals that highlight seasonal vegetables and whole foods.
  • Prepare bone broth and fresh juices daily for the family’s consumption.
  • Create balanced meals with a focus on chicken, seafood, vegetables, and grains or starches. Limited beef and pork (except for bacon).
  • Design child-friendly meals that suit the preferences of the young children, with an openness to introducing new flavors.
  • Incorporate superfoods and ingredients that align with the family’s holistic lifestyle.
  • Work in harmony with the existing household staff (nanny and housekeeper) and maintain a positive, vibrant energy in the home.
  • Complete meal prep by 5:30 PM to ensure family privacy.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Private Chef or a similar role, with a focus on holistic and healthy cuisine.
  • A strong understanding of cooking for young children, using creative and fun approaches to introduce healthy meals.
  • Expertise in seasonal cooking, with a focus on whole foods, superfoods, and nutritional balance.
  • Ability to present a well-rounded, thoughtful weekly menu.
  • A passion for cooking from the heart and soul, with innovation in creating simple yet nourishing meals.
  • Must be professional, flexible, and respectful of the family’s lifestyle and schedule.

Compensation:

  • $600 per day, plus reimbursement for groceries.
