Position: Full-Time Live-In Nanny

Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:30AM–9:30AM & 5PM-730PM (Split Shift)
Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30AM-730PM
Compensation: $25–$35/hour (Guaranteed 40 hours/week)
Commitment: Minimum 1-Year Commitment Preferred
A warm and growing family in Beacon, NY is seeking a compassionate, experienced live-in nanny to support their two children, a sweet and active 2.5-year-old boy and a newborn daughter currently in the NICU following a very premature birth. The ideal candidate is highly reliable, has experience with toddlers, newborns, and preemies, and is proactive in providing a nurturing, structured, and supportive environment.
Live-In Details:
The nanny will reside in a fully furnished home down the street from the family's residence. The home is newly built and unoccupied, though the children’s grandfather may visit and stay occasionally, and will move in permanently next year after retiring. The arrangement allows for full privacy and comfortable accommodations.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:30AM–9:30AM & 5PM-730PM (Split Shift)
Tuesday and Thursday: 7:30AM-730PM
The family’s second nanny works 9:30 AM–5:00 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Full-time coverage ( 40 hours/week) for this role.
Provide attentive, age-appropriate care for a 2.5-year-old boy and, once discharged, a premature newborn
Assist with all child-related household duties, including:
Children's laundry and linens
Bottle and pump part washing and sanitizing
Healthy child meal prep
Tidying up play areas and bedrooms and organizing of aged out clothes, toys, etc.
Drive the child to activities, appointments, or outings as needed (must have own vehicle and Driver's License)
Collaborate and communicate closely with the second nanny and the parents to ensure consistent care
Maintain a calm, clean, and loving environment conducive to child development
Respect the household’s routines, privacy, and values
Minimum 5 years of nanny experience, preferably with toddlers, newborns, and premature infants
Must have a valid driver’s license and own a vehicle
Live-in flexibility
Comfortable working in a home with a work-from-home parent
Non-smoker
Strong communication skills, warm and engaging demeanor, organized and proactive
Fully up-to-date on vaccinations preferred, especially Tdap and flu for newborn.
Mom will take formal maternity leave when the baby is discharged from the NICU but will still require full-time support during that time
