Part-Time Housekeeper for Palm Beach Couple

Location: West Palm Beach, FL
Start Date: October 2024
Salary: $40+/hour, year-round employment

A couple residing in Palm Beach is seeking an experienced, self-motivated, and upbeat part-time housekeeper to join their household. The couple spends half of the year (mid-late October through mid-late May) in West Palm Beach and the remainder in Manhattan. To retain the ideal candidate, they are offering a (lesser) pay, with a flexible schedule when they are away.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall cleaning and maintenance of the home, including:
  • Dusting, polishing, mopping
  • Laundry, hand washing, ironing
  • Window cleaning, oven, and fridge cleaning
  • Watering plants
• Walking and caring for their small dog (a Maltipoo), when needed
• Occasional errands
• Cooking a few meals during the week (optional, but a plus)
• Dog-sitting when the couple is traveling (optional, but a huge plus)

Schedule:

• Full cleaning and tasks when the couple is in residence
• At least once a week when they are away
• Hours and days can be flexible if the housekeeper has another job

Qualifications:

• Experienced housekeeper with the ability to work independently
• Pleasant, upbeat personality, and strong work ethic
• Must love dogs and be comfortable with pet care
• Ability to cook simple meals is a plus
• Reliable and willing to stay overnight to care for the dog when needed
• Driving is required
