Live-out Domestic Couple

Palm Beach, FL

A prestigious ocean-front private estate is seeking a dedicated and experienced Caretaker Couple for the overall upkeep and maintenance of the property. This full-time, live-out position requires a team with a strong background in private home service and committed to providing exceptional care and attention to detail. The ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of relevant experience and will understand the discretion and professionalism required in private service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Home Maintenance: Oversee and perform general maintenance tasks to ensure the estate remains in pristine condition at all times. This includes minor repairs, daily inspections, and coordination with outside vendors for larger projects as directed. Hardscape consists of Coral

Stone, monthly power washing is required

Exterior doors have a mag lock system which require weekly inspection, cleaning and keeping the stainless steel oiled to avoid rusting

Housekeeping: Ensure all areas of the home are kept clean and orderly, and in a state of readiness for guests at all times. This includes daily cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining the overall tidiness of the estate as well as seasonal cleaning projects as directed. Add weekly cleaning of windows 1st and 2nd floor (east side takes a beating with salt)

Pantry & Supplies Management: Maintain an organized pantry, conduct regular inventory of household supplies, and replenish foodstuNs, cleaning products, and other essentials as needed.

Light Meal Preparation: Occasionally prepare light, nutritious meals for the estate owners or their guests as needed.

Entertainment Duty: Assist in procurement, organization, and setup of event furniture, table supplies, and F&B for any on-site entertaining, including table and bar preparation as well as providing additional wait service as needed.

Household Linens & Laundry: Manage household linens, including washing, ironing, and proper

storage. Attend to the laundry needs of the estate owners and guests, ensuring clothes and linens are always in excellent condition.

Wardrobe Maintenance: Organize and maintain the estate owners' wardrobes, ensuring that all

garments are clean, pressed, and properly stored, pack and unpack suitcases as needed.

Light Gardening: Maintain the estate's gardens and landscaped areas, including basic pruning, watering, and seasonal planting to preserve the aesthetic appeal of the property.

Outdoor Patio, Pool & Grounds Oversight: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of outdoor living spaces, including the patio, pool area, and surrounding grounds. This includes seasonal care, regular cleaning, and coordinating with professional services as necessary. Home has 3 exterior fountains. This home has 16 concealed roll down screens and shutters which will require operational inspections and cleaning.

Watercraft & Leisure Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the care and maintenance of watercraft at nearby secondary residence on the inland waterway, including routine checks, cleaning, and coordination with marine service providers. Maintain bicycles on property, keeping them clean and ready for use at all times.

Pet Care/Feeding: Provide occasional care for the family/guest pets, including feeding, walking, and basic grooming as needed.

Car Cleaning: Clean and maintain the estate's vehicles as needed, ensuring they are always in a ready-to-use condition.

Miscellaneous: Other duties as directed by Estate Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

- Have knowledge of water chilled HVAC system (this home has a two Chillers) weekly

inspections will require the candidate to go through the attics monthly and check the units for proper operation and filter changes

- This home has a Battery Back up system by Blue Planet which runs each day for 4 hours during peak electric usage. Candidate will be brought up to speed on the monitoring and must be able to communicate with the service providers

- Must have knowledge of water softening systems

- Must have knowledge of Fire suppression systems which includes a Vesda Smoke sampling system

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in private home care or similar roles.

- Strong understanding of the discretion and confidentiality required in personal domestic service.

- Experience/familiarity with Savant home management or other similar systems.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate family and guest stays.

- Ability to perform a wide range of tasks with minimal supervision.

- Strong communication skills to liaise with the estate manager and other staN.

- Proficiency in basic home maintenance, gardening, and housekeeping.

- Experience with light meal preparation and kitchen management.

- Pet-friendly, with basic pet care skills.

- Ability to handle watercraft and perform basic maintenance.

- Valid driver's licenses for both individuals.

- Looking for a long-term placement.

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

- Experienced with Microsoft ONice Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) for communication and

scheduling.

HOURS & REPORTING

- Full-time, onsite, weekly schedule TBD

- Reports to Estate Manager regarding schedule, ongoing needs, maintenance issues, and any

special requests or instructions from the estate owners
