Live In Nanny/Family Assistant

Bethesda, MD

Bethesda, Maryland Professional parents of a 8 month old baby boy, born Mid-June are looking to hire a reliable Live In Nanny who specifically has newborn care experience, enjoys, cooking, and is willing to follow the protocols of first time parents, and assist with anything needed for the household to run smooth and efficient for many years to come. Responsibilities will be to work Monday-Friday and Saturday evenings, as needed.

Baby care:
Provide full care gentle and nurturing
Baby's laundry, cleaning/sterilizing bottles/breast pump, clean up after baby, feeding/burping/changing diapers/bathing, etc. Must be able and willing to troubleshoot what is bothering baby, and able to follow routine set forth by parents. 
Must understand newborns and sleep training techniques
Must be willing to follow and implement a schedule that mom and dad worked hard to create.

Family Assistant:
Must be reliable disciplined, organized, efficient.
Must be flexible and willing to take direction 
Must be up to date on the latest baby gear/recommendations and willing to provide mom a list of what is running low/needed.including all household supplies
Cook, Able to shop, prep, and cook light meals.
Errands, as needed

Requested Duration:Years!!! When baby begins daycare, the role will shift to more of a Family Asisstant 

About the Family

Adults: 2, working professionals, both spend time working in and out of the home
Baby boy, born Mid-June
-The family has a Deep Cleaner 1 X week, but floors will need to be vacuumed and mopped frequently
-The family has a cat


Position Requirements

  • Work Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday, & Saturday date night 7:00 pm- Midnight, (50 hours)
  • Must be LOCAL, preferably in Montgomery County
  • MUST have experience with infants
  • MUST have current infant CPR/First Aid
  • Languages: English, must be highly communicative
  • Experience: Years of Experience and knowledge
  • References: Minimum of 2 References
  • Background checks and drug testing upon offer of hire
  • Must have own transportation to/from residence

Position Compensation

  • Salary: $35-$40. hr DOE, Annually $78K, DOE
