Job Title: Private Chef (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)

Job Description:

A single, busy mom in McLean, VA, is seeking a talented and flexible private chef to prepare nutritious, delicious meals 2-3 days per week. Flexibility is essential, as the family’s schedule varies. The mom has two growing boys every other week, and during those times, meal preparation demands will be higher. The ideal candidate will have experience creating family-friendly meals, be able to adapt menus to meet nutritional needs, and efficiently prepare meals that satisfy growing, active children.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and cook meals for 2-3 days each week.
• Provide additional meal prep during weeks with children in the home.
• Create balanced and varied menus with a focus on nutrition, flavor, and presentation.
• Accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized after each meal service.
• Grocery shopping and ingredient sourcing as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a private chef or similar role.
• Strong understanding of nutrition, especially for active, growing children.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate changing needs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.

Schedule: Part-time, 2-3 days per week with increased prep on alternating weeks. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
